The history of Bolgar Ceramic
Ceramics for us is not just a craft - it is part of our family history, our inspiration and way of life.
We are a family from Troyan, in which pottery has been passed down for three generations. It all started back in 1995, when my grandfather and my father's uncle laid the foundations of the family production. Over the years, my father has continued the craft with love and perseverance, and today - together with him, my mother, my husband and our loyal employees - we are developing the company, officially founded in 2012.
Our specialty is the production of souvenir, household and garden ceramics, entirely handmade, with attention to every detail. Each product we create carries the spirit of Troyan and the comfort of the Bulgarian home. We are inspired by traditional Troyan patterns and motifs, but we are not afraid to intertwine them with modern ideas and contemporary design.
I graduated from the Secondary Special Art School for Applied Arts in Troyan with a degree in Ceramics, and then from the National Academy of Arts. This combination of knowledge, tradition and creative energy stands behind each of our products.

Troyan pottery is one of the oldest crafts in the region, with roots dating back to the time of the Thracians and Romans.
